Job Description:

JPay, Inc. has an opening for a Senior Developer with a strong SQL Server Reporting Services background who is experienced in the design, architecture, and development of new reports for the .NET platform and MVC 2.0 as well as supporting existing reports targeted on the .NET platform. Candidate should have excellent knowledge and proven experience developing solid SSRS reports.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Work on the core JPay applications to create superior reports for our users.
• Contribute to all phases of the reporting development process – gathering of business requirement, design, development, optimization, testing, and deployment.
• Understand systems architecture and be able to recommend improvements to software development and maintenance processes, quantify the fundamental problems and risks associated with various software development methodologies, and assess, support, and implement process and technology changes.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor members of the development team.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience in SSRS development is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in SSRS administration is required.
• Minimum 10 years experience in database development with at least 5 years with SQL Server; SQL Server 2008 is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in software development is required; ASP.NET experience is preferred.
• Expertise in SQL Server administration is a plus
• Expertise in LINQ and Entity Framework is a plus.
• Some scripting language experience is required; Ruby scripting is preferred.
• Excellent time management, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Able to document processes or procedures.
• Able to stay motivated and productive in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluent in English.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• No relocation is provided for this position.
