Job Description:

JPay, Inc. has an opening for a Senior User Interface Designer / Web Developer who is very strong in UI design, especially CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.   The ideal candidate would be an experienced Web 2.0 developer who is current on the latest website techniques and methodologies such as REST, OWASP, and MVC and has experience not only with one of the mainstream web frameworks, but also with edge technologies such as Facebook

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Work on the core JPay websites to create a superior experience for our users
• Create and edit images and graphics for website UI.
• Contribute to all phases of the development process – design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor members of the web development team.

Required Skills:

• Experience with CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript is required
• Experience with REST, OWASP, and MVC preferred
• Web 2.0 development experience preferred
• Experience with proper usage of colors and fonts, but with an artistic flair.
• Experience with MS SQL Server is a plus
• ASP.NET, C#, and MVC 2.0 experience is a plus
• Expertise in LINQ and Entity Framework is a plus
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Test-Driven Development is a plus
• Windows Forms application experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Able to document processes or procedures.
• Able to stay motivated and productive in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; fluent in English.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
