Developer Analyst-Ms Access /Sql server developer with VBA
FULL TIME JOB (NO H1B’s)
NYC – Salary Range 70-80 k +bonus
Key Responsibilities
-
Maintain, Design, Develop, Document, Test, and Support enhancements to a custom built dynamic reporting platform (MS Access/SQL Server) for Client’s marketing team.

Process monthly/quarterly reports which includes executing batch jobs, data validations and fine tuning of reports.

Further our automation efforts in Excel and PowerPoint.

Interact with the business community and senior development members periodically.

Understand and develop using the existing core framework.

Interact with third party data vendors and members of other teams for periodic data exchanges.

Interact with other members in the organization to follow best practices.
Skills & Knowledge
-
6-8 years of experience with the last 5 years programming with Microsoft technologies.

Very proficient in MS Access, VBA, SQL Server(>2005) and Reporting (MS Access).

Strong experience developing desktop applications using MS Access (Forms), Winforms and SQLServer (procedures/triggers/functions etc) development.

Experience automating Excel using VBA.

Exposure to or knowledge of .net technologies.

Very good experience in UI design, reporting, database design and programming.

Good understanding of overall systems, and their interfaces to other systems.

Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Ability to work closely with other senior development members as a team.
-
Experience in an extreme programming environment is a plus.
-
Financial experience associated with reporting performance of funds/portfolios is a plus.
